Planning estimate only

The planner gives a direct-field estimate from published figures. It does not include reflections, reverberation or room modes and it is not a substitute for measurement, a professional acoustic design or the manufacturer’s own design software. Results can differ greatly from the sound in a real room.

Hearing and safety

High sound levels can damage hearing. The planner does not assess safe exposure, venue noise limits, rigging or structural safety. You are responsible for operating equipment safely and meeting the rules that apply to your venue.

Speaker data

Figures are entered by hand from manufacturer, press or retailer pages that are linked on each speaker page, and may be out of date or wrong. A “Verified” label means the maintainer checked the entered figures against a datasheet on the date shown; it is not a manufacturer guarantee. Check the datasheet for your exact model and version.

Trademarks

Brand and product names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

No warranty

The tool is provided free and as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded. Within what the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss arising from use of the planner or reliance on its results.
